Lens & Prescription
Think of it this way:
Single vision is like a one-trick pony—perfect for one type of vision (distance OR reading, not both)
Bifocals have that visible line—one part for distance, one for reading (classic, but some folks feel the line makes them look older)
Progressives are the modern magic—no lines, just smooth transition from distance to reading. You see clearly at all distances without anyone knowing you're wearing multifocals!
If you're reading this on a phone or computer right now (and let's be real, you probably are!), then YES!
Blue light lenses filter out that harsh screen glare that can: Mess with your sleep (that's why staring at phones keeps you awake!)
Cause digital eye strain and headaches;
Make your eyes feel tired by 3pm;
Even if you don't need prescription glasses, many of our customers add a little blue light protection just for screen time. Your eyes will thank you!
Frames
1. Pupils must be near the center of the lens.
2. The lenses mustn’t go beyond the side of your face.
3. Your eyebrows shouldn’t be inside the glass.
4. Your cheeks shouldn’t push the frame up when you smile.
5. The frames shouldn’t slide down your nose.
Usually you can find size numbers printed on the interiors of the temple arm. You can find some numbers, like this: 54 16 146 or 54-16-146.
The first 2-digit number means lens width, the second 2-digit number means bridge width, the 3-digit number means temple length.
To know how well a pair will fit you, we recommend you compare the measurements of your current glasses to the frame sizes mentioned on our product pages.
New glasses may need minor adjustment to fit your face. It’s best to have an optician fine-tune the glasses for you, but you can also make adjustments by your own.
Want to get some glasses and don't require a prescription? Choose "Non-prescription" lenses of our lens selection process.
You should also select this option if you plan on taking your frame to an optician and have your lenses fitted by them since we do not offer frames without lenses. You can remove your lenses at home once your order has arrived.
Of course! In the first step of Lens Selection select NON-PRESCRIPTION lenses.
Eyeglasses Care
Great question—this is the #1 thing people get wrong! Here's our simple routine:
Rinse lenses with lukewarm water first (this washes away dust that can cause scratches)
Add a tiny drop of lotion-free dish soap
Gently rub with clean fingertips, not your nails!
Rinse thoroughly and shake off excess water
Dry with a clean, soft microfiber cloth (never paper towels, tissues, or shirt sleeves—they're scratch magnets!)
Pro tip: Keep a microfiber cloth in your car, desk, and nightstand so you're never tempted to use your shirt!
Of course! In the first step of Lens Selection select NON-PRESCRIPTION lenses.
